BarDown was born out of frustration. Clunky apps. Missing features. Tools that feel like they were designed for corporate softball — not hockey.
We built BarDown because we wanted an app that gets how beer league actually works. Late-night games, last-minute subs, post-game beers, and the eternal question: who's in?
Every feature was designed by someone who manages a real team. No bloat. No enterprise nonsense. Just the tools you actually need to run your team and enjoy the game.

Is BarDown free?
Yes! BarDown is free to download and use. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core team management features will always be free.
Does it work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. BarDown is available on both iOS and Android. Your team data syncs in real time across all devices — iPhone and Android players can be on the same team.
Can I switch from BenchApp or TeamSnap?
Absolutely. Create your team on BarDown, share the invite code with your players, and you're up and running. You can import your schedule via CSV to save time. Most teams are fully set up in under 10 minutes.
How do I get my whole team on BarDown?
When you create a team, you'll get a unique 6-character invite code. Share it with your players — they download the app, enter the code, and they're on the roster. No emails to collect, no invitations to manage.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. We don't sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with third parties. All data is encrypted in transit and stored securely. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I manage multiple teams?
Players can join multiple teams using different invite codes. Full multi-team management with a unified calendar is coming in a future update.
What makes BarDown different from other team apps?
BarDown was built specifically for beer league hockey by someone who actually manages a team. Features like the sub finder, lineup builder, playoff eligibility tracking, and Stars of the Game voting were designed for how beer league actually works — not adapted from a generic sports template.
